Instructions
1. In a small bowl, whisk together miso paste, mirin, sake (or sherry), soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and grated ginger until smooth to form the glaze.
2. Pat salmon fillets dry. Place salmon in a shallow dish and coat generously with the miso glaze. Marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
3. Preheat your broiler to high. Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease.
4. Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Broil for 6-10 minutes, depending on thickness, until the salmon is cooked through and the glaze is caramelized and slightly browned. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
5. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve immediately.
