Instructions
1. In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly broken down but still chunky.
2. Add the cooked brown rice, breadcrumbs, diced red onion, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, soy sauce, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
3. Mix well until everything is combined and forms a moldable mixture.
4. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form them into patties.
5. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
6. Cook the patties for 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and heated through.
