Instructions

1. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper. 2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside. 3. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet and melt. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using), and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. 4. Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet. Stir in lemon juice and fresh parsley. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly. 5. Serve immediately over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.
