Instructions

1. Cook gnocchi according to package instructions. They usually float to the top when done. Drain and set aside. 2. While gnocchi is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. 3. Pour in crushed tomatoes. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly. 4. Stir in heavy cream and torn basil leaves. Season with salt and pepper. Continue to simmer for another 2-3 minutes. 5. Add the cooked gnocchi to the sauce and gently toss to coat. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan if desired.
