Instructions
1. Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to brown it.
3. Increase heat to medium-high. Add shrimp, lime juice, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, stirring occasionally, until shrimp are pink and opaque.
4. Remove from heat. Stir in chopped cilantro.
5. Serve immediately with warm tortillas, rice, or as a main dish with a side salad.
