
Bacon Cheeseburgers

Instructions
1. Form ground beef into four equal patties, flattening them slightly. Season generously with salt and pepper. Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy; set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
2. In the same skillet (or on a grill), cook patties over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side for medium doneness, or to your preference. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
3. While patties are cooking, lightly toast hamburger buns on the grill or in a separate pan.
4. Assemble burgers: Spread mayonnaise and ketchup on toasted buns. Place a patty with melted cheese on the bottom bun. Top with two slices of crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and pickles. Cover with the top bun and serve immediately.
