
Aglio e Olio with Toasted Breadcrumbs
This classic, simple pasta dish is bursting with garlic flavor and elevated by crunchy, golden breadcrumbs for a satisfying weeknight meal.

Instructions
1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions in salted water. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp of olive oil over medium heat. Add breadcrumbs and toast until golden brown and crispy. Remove from skillet and set aside.
3. Add remaining olive oil to the same skillet. Add sliced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and cook over low heat until garlic is fragrant and lightly golden, about 3-5 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil. Toss to combine. Add a splash or two of reserved pasta water to create a light sauce.
5. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately, garnished with toasted breadcrumbs and fresh parsley.
